• Once the wedding is booked, clients must send the completed wedding form to the hotel book the wedding date with the public notary. Requirements for a Legal Wedding in Cuba

Documents Required:

• Birth certificates for the wedding couple
• Passports for the wedding couple and witnesses
• Tourist visa cards for the wedding couple and witnesses
• Two wedding forms
• If divorced or widow(er), final divorce certificate or death certificate, if applicable, must be authenticated and translated into Spanish at the Cuban Consulate in the country of origin. There is a charge of 135.00 CUC for the protocolization of these documents
• A Cuban marriage certificate will be issued in approximately 30 days after the ceremony

Other Requirements:

• All documents must be sent by fax or email to the hotel at least 30 days before the ceremony
• Bring the originals of all documents to Cuba with you
• The Judges schedule weddings Monday to Friday from 09:00 hrs until 16:00 hrs (9 am - 4 pm)
• Couples wishing to have a ceremony different from the above times should contact the wedding specialist who will submit a request. An additional cost of 150.00 will apply
• Witnesses can be supplied on request
• Any extra charge for Notary services should be paid directly at the hotel and should be discussed with the wedding specialist
• The names on birth certificates, passports, affidavits and all other applicable documents must all match EXACTLY. (For example clients should have no middle names missing from their documents) If documents are incorrect, they can be amended at the Cuban Consulate for a charge
• We advise couples to check the marriage application immediately after the ceremony to avoid problems
• Relatives cannot be witnesses who must be over 18 years of age
• Once the trip is booked, you must send the wedding specialist the completed wedding form so the hotel can book your wedding date with the public notary in Cuba *
• You have to be in Cuba at least three days prior to the wedding.
• THE NOTARY'S OFFICE MAY KEEP SOME ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS YOU BRING TO CUBA

* The form must be sent to the address or number below at least 1 month prior to your departure date along with a photocopy of your passports and tourist visa if possible
